Oh our family had such fun, ee I ee I oh

Welcome to Baby Brain, a space where I – Charlotte, hi! – write about family life with three small children – Poppet (m, 5 years), Pickle (m, 4 years) and Peach (f, 1 year.) Those are not their real names. These are real stories from our days.

We have just this minute arrived home from a week at Center Parcs, and I wanted to document our time there while the high was still fresh. I say 'the high was still fresh,' I literally just cried in the car on the way home because two out of three of the children were so overtired they shrieked for nigh on two hours, getting so loud and so high pitched that my brain malfunctioned and I wept, but let’s not dwell on that and instead return to, yes, THE HIGH!
